Am I a Candidate?

The first step in determining eligibility is for you to answer the following questions.

Questions: Yes No
Are you at least 21 and no more than 80 years of age?
Do you usually have a blood pressure reading where your top number (systolic) is 160 or above?
Do you usually have blood pressure reading where your bottom number (diastolic) is 80 or above?
Are you currently taking two or more drugs for your high blood pressure?
Have you had a procedure or treatment to your carotid sinuses (area where the common and internal carotid vessels join in the neck area) such as: Radiation ? Endovascular Stent Placement? Surgery?

 

Eligibility to participate in the study is based on a specific set of criteria. It’s important to note that the criteria set here is not the only criteria for the study. If you meet the initial set of screening criteria, you will be asked to provide us with contact information so one of our patient screening specialists can call you and ask you further questions.
